Ezra 4 months

He giggles, babbles, and just learned how to squawk. He grabs and holds small toys and can play independently for longer periods of time. The kid is just happy to be alive. Ezra weighs 14.8 lbs and is 26 1/4 inches long which puts him in the 50th percentile for weight and 95th for height. That sounds about right for our children.

Ezra 3 months

This blue outfit was brought up by Jason's mom and was once worn by Jason when he was a baby.

Mama loves her delicious baby.

Ezra can play with his hangy toys now

Ezra is such a happy baby, full of smiles and contagious baby giggles.

Post-bath & lotioning (my favorite part of having babies)

Early Christmas with the Beneezees

Part of our visit to Washington included a few days with our friends, Amy and Anthony Benezra. We invaded their home with noise, spills, kitty chasing and kid clutter. They took it all with grace and revealed that they, too, were soon adding a noisy spill-making kitty chaser to their family.

Mute likes to be in on the action...but not really. She plays it cool like that.

Family Dinner

No trip home would be complete without family dinner with the Criddle cousins.

Jason and I went out to dinner at an awesome Tepanyaki place in Federal Way with Laurel and Kevin.

Santa comes when it rains, too

While we were staying with my parents, Santa came to town accompanied by lights and sirens. Jack made sure to tell Santa he wanted Ice Screamer from Mater Tall Tales. To which Santa replied, "What kind of ice cream do you like?". That's okay, Santa, we understand him and trust that you'll get him an Ice Screamer for Christmas.

Sweet Home Washington

Mid-December found us in my home state for a brief visit with family and friends. Our visits are never long enough and we cram as much as we can into those few days.
My mom, Jason, and I took Jack to the Museum of Flight. Ezra tagged along, too.

Jack and I in the flight simulator where Jack discovered that his mama is no Maverick.

Jack became "Buzz Wightyear"
